Neil Miller

Neil Miller

Chief Financial Officer

Neil serves as the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for executive oversight of the company’s joint venture investments and operating companies as well as its finance, accounting and administrative functions. Prior to joining Guardian Capital, Neil served in executive and principal roles for publicly-traded and private companies with various interests in commercial real estate. Neil earned a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law, MBA from Washington University and BS in Finance from Indiana University.
Jim Previti

James Previti

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

James serves as Chairman and CEO of Guardian Capital. He previously founded and successfully led Forecast Homes, one of the largest privately-owned home building companies, which was sold in 2002 to K. Hovnanian. He is responsible for overall investment strategy, providing capital for a variety of real estate project types located throughout California and northern Nevada. James has been a presence in the California real estate industry for decades serving on numerous boards and associations since 1986, including USD's Burnham-Moores Center's Policy Advisory Board. He is an aviation enthusiast and avid tennis player.

Adam Knowlton

Chief Legal Officer

As Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President, Adam serves as Guardian Capital’s general counsel. He is responsible for deal structuring and execution, portfolio matters, compliance and other legal and firm administrative functions. Prior to joining Guardian Capital, Adam was a member of the real estate department of Loeb & Loeb, LLP in the Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP, Mr. Knowlton was senior vice president and general counsel for Younan Properties, Inc. where he oversaw all of the commercial real estate management company’s legal matters. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Williams College and his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific.

Russell Rodriguez

Senior Vice President of Asset Management

Russell A. Rodriguez serves as Senior Vice President of Asset Management. He is responsible for conceptualizing, articulating, and implementing high-level asset strategy performance, across Guardian's portfolio, including its commercial real estate, multifamily, office, retail and hospitality properties. Russell also conducts market research, demographic analyses, financial data evaluations, and creates business plans, for each property in Guardian’s portfolio. Prior to Guardian, Russell was the President of Kort and Scott Financial Group, LLC, and the VP, Multifamily, of American Assets Trust, Inc. (NYSE: AAT). Mr. Rodriguez holds a B.A. in International Relations and Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC), while also studying at the Complutense University of Madrid. Russell is a member of various professional trade organizations and he is the former Chairman of ICSC California.

Travis Adams

Senior Vice President of Development

As SVP of Multifamily Development, Travis Adams internally oversees development projects and private equity investments for the firm totaling over $550mm, comprised of 1,500+ units throughout the Western United States. His responsibilities include oversight of project level development teams, analyzing new opportunities as well as optimizing company wide processes and execution. He is acting Chair of Affordable Housing and Homelessness for the California Apartment Association, a mentor for the University of San Diego Burnham-Moores Real Estate Program and a Big Brother with San Diego’s branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Travis graduated from University of Connecticut in 2012 where he served as President of the Real Estate Society and was awarded Real Estate Student of the Year His hobbies include New England Patriots football, reading, basketball and anything outdoor oriented.

Indira Lemonds

VP, Director of Accounting

Indira serves as controller, managing the day-to-day accounting for the business. She was previously the controller for Argus Realty Investors LP and she earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton. Indira is married with two children and enjoys camping, off-roading, mountain biking and hiking.
Bradley Collins

Brad Collins

Vice President of Construction

As Vice President of Construction, Brad Collins manages Guardian Capital’s Sacramento office team and oversees the estimating, preconstruction, and management of its various construction projects. Before joining Guardian Capital, Brad was an estimator for Brown Construction, Inc., and Senior Estimator for Precision General Commercial Contractors specializing in conceptual, schematic, and estimating contract budgets for new construction multi-family housing and senior renovation projects. Brad worked his way through college, building custom homes. At the same time, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, emphasizing Production and Operations Management from CSU, Chico, and his Certificate in Construction Management from UC Davis. He is a member of the Sacramento Regional Builders and enjoys various outdoor activities with his wife and daughter in his off time.

Chris McCoy

Development Manager

Chris is responsible for managing Guardian Capital’s residential development projects in Nevada. He oversees the project due diligence, A&E design process, and coordination of regulatory approvals. After the start of construction, he is responsible for general oversight, acting as the Owner’s Representative. Prior to joining Guardian Capital, he was a real estate development analyst for Fairfield Residential. Chris earned his MA in City Planning, BA in Economics, and a BA in History from San Diego State University. His hobbies include woodworking, reading, and anything outdoor-oriented.

Alex Glick

Development Manager

Alex is responsible for overseeing the development of Guardian's commercial and multifamily assets. He represents and leads the project from design development through stabilization. Prior to Guardian, he worked as the Director of Marketing and Leasing at Caliber Retail Properties Group. After work, he enjoys surfing, tennis, traveling, and reading.

Zach Gordon

Preconstruction Manager

Zach serves as Guardian Capital’s Preconstruction Manager. He is responsible for managing, in coordination with Operations and Development, project financial evolution, risk mitigation, design and constructability analysis, as well as engagement of contractors and consultants. Prior to Guardian, Zach worked in various roles within the construction industry in both private and public sectors, operating in multiple states, with the last 8 years as VP of Estimation for a national multi-family general contractor. Zach earned a BA in History from CSU Sacramento and is married with two children. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, backpacking, golf, woodworking, and travel.

Brent Bockie

Construction Manager

Brent serves as Guardian Capital’s Construction Manager in the Northern California area managing all onsite construction-related activities. He is the Ownership representative responsible for day-to-day operational oversight at each construction project assigned. Brent is engaged in project schedule design and financial analysis with the Pre-construction Team and risk management and constructability review of each project. Before joining Guardian Capital in 2018, Brent had 23+ years of experience in the Construction Field and has worked for several large General Construction companies such as Davis Reed Construction Inc., Rinnovo Group Inc., JC Construction Innovations Inc., and JTS Communities Inc. as a Project Manager & Senior Superintendent. Brent has performed construction oversight over Highrise projects, multiple multi-family projects, dozens of Commercial building renovations. Brent has been a Licensed General Contractor in California for 9+ years as President of MB Builder Innovations Inc. Brent is married with (1) daughter and (1) stepson and enjoys his family time and the mountains.

Steve Arndt

Construction Manager

Steve is responsible for managing all construction-related activities for the Nevada Projects. He is the Owner’s Representative on-site and oversees all contractors and consultants. Prior to joining Guardian Capital, he has worked for many years in the Reno Area primarily for Q & D Construction and SMC Construction in Project Management and as an Owner’s Representative. Steve earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Steve is married with 2 children and enjoys golf, skiing, travel, exploring the Lake Tahoe area and the California wine country.
